Things I Found Wrong About Korede Bello's Godwin Video [Written by DJ Davisy]

Since the release of Korede Bello's Godwin video, its been trailed with mixed reactions mostly positive. However, while most of y'all choose to stay in this safe, happy bubble and give Korede Bello and his team pats on their backs, there are 3 things I found curious. I'll be polite here as such this article will address just that. This ain't any beef, review or something. Like you know, I'm always just saying *wink*

1. Comedian Bovi
I know everybody loves Bovi but as is typical of the Nigerian entertainment industry we tend to overdo things. Korede, do you really need Bovi in that video? This is song is a thanksgiving song, you weren't suppose to use any comedian in the video. Having Bovi in that video is just like 'k' in knee, it is very much unnecessary and to be sincere here we've seen Bovi do better.

2. That Dance! E Too Whack Abeg
Smh! Should I call that dance Bullshit? I think it is bullshit! What was that dance for? What's the name of that dance? I don't even know what to call it! All I literally cringed every time Korede did the very weird. As for Don baba Jay, bros please don't be agbaya sir. I've heard loads of comment about that dry dance Korede did in that video, it wasn't needed at all since he doesn't know how to dance. Korede should have hired dancers to show him some moves. I get that Korede isn't that much of a performer unlike Reekado Banks. I have watched him struggle to actually get into character on stage and in videos except maybe Dorobuci. Korede was dancing in that video like his back was scratching him and he could not touch his back, he really need to go and learn some moves.

3. He Winked
Someone needs to tell Korede Bello to grow up please, he is not getting younger everyday. The wink was cool in Dorobucci video though it was getting a little bit dry in Adaobi video but in Godwin video it was just so annoying!!! Please do it better bro.

Godwin is a very nice jam, always on repeat on my playlist and it got a nice video but i noticed those things about the video. Do you agree with me? If yes drop your comment, if no let me know what you think.

Joe Ness Ft. Devvon Terrell - Run Away (Produced by Duck Dodger)

For some people making music is a hobby but for Joe Ness it is his life. He has been rapping for more than 10+ years. Joe Ness is a rapper from Brooklyn, NY who has perfected the catchy hook to gain fans. Don’t let that fool you because he is great at word play and often you’ll have to listen a few times before you catch onto his metaphors and analogies. He has done shows in and around the city including Downtown Brooklyn College fest alongside Action Bronson, Joey Badass, Biz Markie and Pusha T. He has performed at Play Lounge in Queens and the Trash Bar in Williamsburg. Joe Ness has also ranked as high as #1 on Reverbnation for Hip Hop artists in Brooklyn. He has also appeared on WSHH twice in the past few years.
He has dropped two successful mix tapes on Datpiff so far. The first titled “Off The Bench” debuted in 2012 and had a few thousand downloads within the first couple of months. The second mix tape titled “Flight Class” was widely received and went silver with almost 100,000 views and 55,000 downloads. Joe Ness is currently signed to Spectra music group as an indie artist and has been working on his debut album titled “Ellipsis”. The project will feature 14 original songs including two songs he already dropped videos for “The Pilot” and “I Go to Work”. Both videos did well on Youtube and have garnered Joe a lot of attention. This album includes 1 song produced by J. Cardim a well-known producer who has worked with Joe Budden, Lil Wayne and Ludacris. Joe Ness' team Stash Mob is a big part of the album with other songs produced by Duck Dodger and Cali The Kid. The intro to the album. Ellipsis should be in stores sometime in late 2014.

DJMoreMuzic, in conjunction with PresRock Entertainment, his home label, has just released a new single titled “Ife Re“.

“Ife Re”, which is a Yoruba phrase for “Your Love” was delivered in Yoruba and English languages. It is also a short rendition, and you won’t need to strain your ears to pick the sampled percussion/beat on the background. It is a slow song with melody, but not enough to hide the vocal weakness and diction of the performer.
Apparently, the DJMoreMuzic has been building anticipation ahead of the release of this song, especially on social media, and it’s ok for a DJ, who is not particularly a vocalist. The ladies might like it, especially the singer’s artiste.
